Hello All

I was using Mldownloader as EOD data downloader (as i track very few stocks & don't need all the data from nse/bse bhavcopy). And it provides me flexibility of data download for user specified stocks.

But the problem is it uses yahoofinnace as download server. For last few days bulk data is missing from yahoofinance site.

So is there any software or provision in getbhavcopy so that I can download historical prices from nseindia.com only the stocks I am interested in. & more to convert it into metastock format.

It would be like Mldownloader downloading data from nseindia.com site.

Not yet, but some developer can write a post processor on the Getbhavcopy file to get the data as per your needs by filtering out the data you do not need

But think about the fact that tomorrow you get interested in a new script...what do you base you decisions upon? Is it not a good idea to have that data too ...specially when it is free.

Hi sandeep,

You are interested in some specific stocks only and they get lost in the crowd of about 1300 stocks - may be this is your problem.

Amibroker has the facility to create watchlists. Yoy may add all the stocks of your interest into a watchlist and watch them, do TA on them only.

FCharts also has got a similar facility, and may be all other TA software.
