hi,

I found that no. of stocks are not same for every day data in nse e.g. no of lines in 6 feb10 are 1293 & no. lines are1325 for 8feb10 and no. of lines are 1335 for 9feb10.

pls check it and solve my query.

That is the desired behavior. It depends if there was a trade in a particular security on that day or not. There are some companies where the volume is 0 on some days. Hence those companies do not make it to the NSE bhavcopy file.

hi heman,

what about price not being consisten !! i know that data is pulled straight out ot nse site, but there is more than a glitch. if u see the online tick chart on nse.com itself, and then compare it with the data provided in GBC, then ull find inconsistency in many stocks. this happens for open price, but sometime ive found it to be for high or low even. maybe its a glitch on nse side or maybe we are just being victims of market manipulation !!!! but all it does is that it changes the chart pattern. say an engulfing bull or bear may be changed to a doji !!!!
