Getbhavcopy: Free NSE and BSE data downloader

Dear Hemen,

Data for NSE and BSE is not downloading for the date 06.02.2009 , Special trading session by NSE.

I have also tried to download data by cleaning files from ' Temp' folder . GB is showing data download is complete but there is no NSE or BSE data files in the folder.

The details are as follows

Please treat date as 06.02.2010

Same for me! May be its Ignore the weekend !

I tried with out checking ignore week end! still its not working!

May be its designed with a bug of not downloading data on Saturday and sunday!

Developer please rectify this bug! Thank You in advance!

 Same problem with special trading session on last saturday ,06-02-10

Only NSE partial data down loaded but it is not present in NSE or BSeE folders.

Dear All,

I am a new member,having the same problem for data of 6/2/10.However no problems were faced for data of 8/2/10.Hope u will also find the problem solved for the week,but data for Saturdays will hopefully be available with some changes in the programme which i am sure Hemenji will be taking up.

If you want to download data for some weekends when there was trading, like diwali muhurat or like last Saturday then

1. Go to the options tab.

2. Uncheck Ignore weenends

3. SAVE the settings  << Most people forget to save....

4. Try to download data for that special day.

Once done ensure you check the ignore weekend checkbox again and SAVE

This is not a bug, this is a designed feature.
