Getbhavcopy: Free NSE and BSE data downloader

 For the two days i am not ablt to download the data always error comes, even before for more than a week there weas a problem.anything can be solved

 today i am also facing download problem

Please paste logs. Without logs how can you expect to get help from anyone ?

I am trying to download data of 9 and 10 dec.

Seems like a problem at NSE end.... but i think Hemen will no better.

All of those who are reporting errors with NSEbhav.gbc and BSEbhav.gbc should delete the tmp folder and try redownloading the data.

It seems there was NSE connectivity issue causing Getbhavcopy to hang. I tried downloading data for past 4 days (from 7DEC to 10DEC) and it downloaded without any issues.

So please retry

I am also facing same problen in downloading the data. Even deleting the temp file. So far it was woking fine but last two days problem stated. What to do now. Please help

I recently downloaded getbhavcopy 2.0.7 and did all settings as per your screnn shot. I selected to download both NSE and BSE data and start downloaded. But the bhave copy is not being downloaded in the selected directory. Instead It creates own temp folder and downlaod the *.csv files.  I could not convert this *.csv files in  the metastock convertor. i am getting error.

Do not try to modify anything in the temp folder or any of the intermediate files till it has completed downloading.

Delete the temp folder and try to download once again.

When I downloaded data for BSE the Index data for all the index was not downloaded. Also the volume data in NSE is not proper

i also faced the problem many times.

here is my solution and it worked for me hope it will be so for others.

1. i just delete he bhav copy folder inculing the zip files.

2. then i redownload the Bhav copy zip.

3. creat a folder and name it Bhav Copy.

4. extract the connetes of zip file in this folder.

5. click on get bhav copy.exe

6. Now you can download data.

7. redo the same when ever the problem arises.

8. one thing which i noticed " the problem occurs when ever i try to download data during market time."

9. so download in evening after market hours.

10. hope this helps for others too.

rather than doing all this just delete the temp folder.

Also never try downloading data in market times as the load on NSE servers is just too much during that time and can cause issues

On the options tab, disable the 'Ignore Weekend' option.

I tried with disabling with ignore Weekend option! But still not able to download the data!
