Hi Hemen, I am having the following problem with the latest version of getbhavcopy. Can you please tell me how to resolve it ?

Dear Hemen
I am too facing similar problem with the new version 2.0.7
On 7th Dec I could download NSE Data but not BSE data. Today that is 8th December I am unable to download either data.
The GBC message is -

Further in the temp directory
cm07DEC2009bhav.csv EQ071209.CSV cm08DEC2009bhav.csv EQ081209.CSV
files exist having NSE and BSE data. I have checked these files and the files appear to be OK having all the required data. The problem appears to be that GBC is not able to access these files in the temp folder and is not able to convert to txt files in NSE and BSE folders.

T Dey, You definately have some network connectivity issue. Are you behind a firewall and require proxy access? Can you open www.nseindia.com in Internet Explorere (no other browser) KhoKho, Can you try deleting the temp folder and trying again ??? Not sure wht the error is... Will analyse...Till that time let me know the result. | |

Thanks Hemen, I too were facing the issue downloading bhavcopies, But I tried Ascending and Descending and also removed any files in temp folder, resolved my issue. Keep going.. Excellent Job! | |

I am using version 2.1.0a. I have downloaded data for 2-3 weeks now both from my home (without proxy) and from office (from behind proxy). But for last 3-4 days I am getting an error message as below: "Message You are not using the latest version of Getbhavcopy. Message Please download the latest version from http://www.getbhavcopy.com"
I checked for latest version, and i believe this is the latest version. I was able to download for 2-3 weeks and now suddenly i am not..can you help!
btw, the software is tremendous. it takes the pain out of data conversion. I am just hoping that you will get MCX and NCDEX data also in this soon. | |
