Getbhavcopy: Free NSE and BSE data downloader

Getbhavcopy is great utility and I have been using it from sometime now. I am looking if two of following feature can be implemented into this program.

1. over the time stock symbols get changed for many companies and therefore unchanged metastock database contains both old as well as new symbol list and we need to manually merge the symbols in 'Downloader'. Though this need to be done onetime, but if for some reason or other someone wants to rebuild metastock database from ASCII as produced by bhavcopy, its again troublesome. e.g. recently open interest data was not getting downloaded now its being donwloaded or NSE indices data was not there earlier but its there now. Or any other reason can surface from time to time.

I was thinking if you can implement a reference symbol list with their new symbols, old symbols with or without date of change. so if sombody is downloading old bhavcopy an option checkbox could be provided to replace old symbols with new symbols by actually referring bhavcopy to look into reference list.

I can provide you list of new symbols and old symbols with change date if you are convinced. Since you are into softwares you might be having better ideas to do so.

2. can you provide time scheduler into getbhavcopy to download data automatically or start downloading at specific times.

3. implemnting some script to update metastock database without going to downloader... something like this

Just an observation- if the bhavcopy is downloaded automatically and updated in metastock too next wish would be an automatic analysis of charts too..
