Getbhavcopy: Free NSE and BSE data downloader

Hi Hemen,

I have downloaded all the date from GETBHAVCOPY and tried to convert those datas in metastock format, the problem i am facing is after following all the steps as stated by you i am not being able to open any data or charts as such through META STOCK.

I am using METASTOCK prof. in the offline mode.

now when i am opening the data through metastock using the directory having metastock data\nse (nse being the folder where thedata has been converted from GETBHAVCOPY) , now when i am opening the charts its only showing one bar, where as it should show atleast the whole movement for a particular day.

I have converted the data for 01/09/2009 NSE data.

please help with the same

Sudipta gbc is end of day data. you get only OHLC bar for the day. what you need is realtime data for MS Pro.

As mentioed by asahai, Getbhavcopy is an EOD data downloader. So it helps you plot trends using the daily OLHC values, not the intraday chart.

If you want to see the trend you need to import the historical data as well. Search for historical data in Metastock format.
