hi

 i am new to  amibroker. i hv downloaded data using getbhavcopy.exe. also imported data into amibroker. but i didn't know how to organize database into sectors. pls help me to learn this.thanks in advance.

Sorry, I have always used METASTOCK ... may be somebody in this forum will get back to you with their advice

me too have used only metastock, but have a piece of advice. why do u want to group in sectors? to run scans?

in metastock, we have something called "favourates"-where one can keep shortcut of charts , i guess u must have something similar in amibroker too. then why dont u create folders in that , and then add all stocks to respective sector folders. or if u have the facility , then maybe u can move the data itself- but then that would create problems in updating the data if it is kept in many folders !!

I HAVE DOWNLOADED TRIAL VERSION OF AMIBROKER SOFTWARE AND GETBHAVCOPY SOFTWARE.BUT UNABLE TO EXPORT IT TO THE AMIBROKER SOFTWARE.PLEASE GUIDE ME HOW TO USE THESE SOFTWARES.
