sir i found you on search google. this software is best that i have ever seen. sir  i have query also,i have downloaded yesterday data (031209) but ticker shows codes not scrip names . how to overcome this problem?

Dear Hemen,

I have successfully downloaded today,  the NSE Bhav copies from 02-12-2009 by specifying the range of dates  with the new version.

BSE bhav copies for the same date range from 02-12-2009  were downloaded with descending order option for the Index data, but only stock data was downloaded.

Then I downloaded the bhav copies again one by one with the Ascending order option and the Indices data also was downloaded.

Hope this is the normal behaviour for the program. This observation is posted for the information of other users, if they face similar problem.

Thanks for GBC and more so, the latest update.

I request to give priority to NSE F&O Bhav copy.and look forward to the facility at your earliest convenience.

Yes sir, BSE recently updated the order in which they display indices data. If you remember Getbhavcopy earlier used to assume the data will always be ascending. But then BSE changed it to descending and that is when I had to come up with a new version 2.0.6 and fix it.

But then instead of assuming it will always be descending, I designed it in such a way that even if BSE keeps changing stuff, the users can select appropriate option and download data so that i do not have a release a new version again.

Hence the effect. I had also sent an email informing all users about the same too.
